Islamabad: Pakistan has raised travel restrictions from 11 countries including India on Friday, local media reported.
The National Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) revised the list of international trips and deleted 11 countries from Category C, Ary News reported on Friday.
The authority lifted travel restrictions on passengers who entered from 11 countries including India, Argentina, Bhutan, Maldives and Brazil.
However, Bangladesh, Iran, Iraq, South Africa, Nepal is among 11 countries that are still listed in category C, Ary News added.
However, the authority has enabled Pakistani residents to return from Category C countries but Covid-19 tests will be mandatory for them, local media reported.
In an effort to curb the spread of Coronavirus, the authority also prohibits domestic air travel for people who are not vaccinated.
In June, the Pakistani command and operation center had imposed restrictions on traveling tourists from 26 countries including India.
