Pakistan FM called Afghanistan ‘more stable’ after the Taliban takeover

Islamabad: Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mehermood Qureshi has summoned Afghanistan “more stable” after the Taliban took control of the country, said a media report.
Claiming that there are no signs of civil war in neighboring countries since Taliban’s takeover, Qureshi in a recent interview claimed that the country was “more stable after the regime’s change”, according to Khaama Press.
He also stressed that even though there were changes in the regime in Afghanistan, Pakistan did not witness the entry of refugees from the country.
However, earlier this month Pajhwok Afghanistan claimed that thousands of Afghans including women and children were stranded near the Pakistani border in the Southern Kandahar Province Spin District.
Afghanistan and their families, who come from North-East and East Provinces Afghanistan are in a hurry to leave the country.
Islamabad only allows people who have a Pakistani ID card or the Kandahar ID card, said Pajhwok Afghanistan News.
Furthermore, increasing concerns over the humanitarian situation in Afghanistan, Qureshi warned the economic and humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan, reported the Khaama press.
Criticizing the existence of the existence of a permanent representative of Afghanistan Ghulam Muhammad Ishaqzai, at the United Nations, he said that the previous Afghan government had escaped and his representatives did not have a position in the UN General Assembly (UNGA).
Previously, the request by the Taliban was ruled out when asked the United Nations to receive a spokesman for Suhail Shaheen as a permanent representative of the country.
