Pakistani National Security Advisor (NSA) Moeed Yusuf said on Tuesday he would not travel to India for the upcoming conference in Afghanistan on November 10 when he stopped the role of India as a “peace carrier” in a torn neighbor country.
India extends the invitation to Pakistan to attend a regional conference in Afghanistan organized by the NSA Ajit Doval India.
Yusuf said that he would not travel to India to attend the conference organized by India in Afghanistan on November 10, the Tribune Express newspaper reported.
According to sources, even China has so far not confirmed participation and cannot be physically represented at the conference.
Responding to questions during a press conference, Yusuf said that “spoiler” could not take the “fortune teller” role, the report said.
Previously, the Pakistani Foreign Office confirmed the invitation from India but said the decision would be taken at the right time.
India has also invited Russia, Iran, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan for conferences.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi previously said that Pakistani’s decision would be based on the condition of the relationship between the two nuclear armed neighbors.
Yusuf said that Pakistan, unlike Western, could not break away with Afghanistan because of his regional closeness.
“It might be a luxury for the Western world sitting 10,000 miles away (to stay away from Afghanistan) but we have no choice to break away from Afghanistan,” he said.
