Human rights activists welcome the school gap.
Trans people are considered to be wasted by many people, especially in the conservative area of Pakistan.
They are often misused sexually, attacked and even killed.
They are hesitant to enroll in ordinary schools to avoid discrimination.
“We thank the government to open this school and to provide free education to our community,” said Ayesha Mughal, a transgender who had campaigned for years of their community rights.
In Pakistan, trans people are also often forced to beg, dance, and even prostitution to get money.
However, which began to change in 2019, when the country’s Supreme Court appointed transgender people as a third gender.
Previously, trans people were often rejected by care because doctors could not decide whether to treat them in a male or female ward.
