Pakistan opens a government-run school for transgender students

Multan: Pakistan opened a school managed by his first government for transgender students on Thursday in downtown Multan, a provincial education minister said, promised to establish more schools in the future.
The school, was founded by the Ministry of Education in Punjab Province, where Multan is located, opening the door on the first day of school with 18 registered students.
Happy! You have managed to throw your voteogin to see the results “We have provided everything needed” for their school, tweeted Murad Rass, Minister of Education Punjab.
He added hope that the school would help transgender youth get better job opportunities later on.
More trans students are still expected to register in time at school in Multan, where the class is offered from class 1-12.
Human rights activists welcome the school gap.
Trans people are considered to be wasted by many people, especially in the conservative area of Pakistan.
They are often misused sexually, attacked and even killed.
They are hesitant to enroll in ordinary schools to avoid discrimination.
“We thank the government to open this school and to provide free education to our community,” said Ayesha Mughal, a transgender who had campaigned for years of their community rights.
In Pakistan, trans people are also often forced to beg, dance, and even prostitution to get money.
However, which began to change in 2019, when the country’s Supreme Court appointed transgender people as a third gender.
Previously, trans people were often rejected by care because doctors could not decide whether to treat them in a male or female ward.
