Pakistan PM Imran Khan spoke to Gulf leaders, discussing Afghanistan, bilateral bond

Islamabad: Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday held a telephone call with Top Gulf leaders, including Saudi Arabia and Qatar, and discussed the current situation in Afghanistan and bilateral bond with them.
Khan called the Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and the two leaders discussed bilateral relations and were exchanged for the latest situations in Afghanistan and bilateral relations, the PM office said in a statement.
Both leaders have detailed discussions about the latest situation in Afghanistan where Khan underlines that peaceful and stable Afghanistan is very important for Pakistani and regional stability.
Khan emphasizes that the international community has the responsibility to support Afghans and support them economically and help rebuild the state.
He emphasized the need to overcome the urgent humanitarian needs and take steps to ensure the stability of Afghan’s economy.
Both leaders agreed on the importance of inclusive political settlement in Afghanistan.
Then agree that the international community must increase its involvement to prevent the crisis of humanity and refugees.
The prime minister stressed that Pakistan’s desire to fortify the bond of historic brotherhood with Saudi Arabia and reaffirmed Pakistani support for the sovereignty of royal and territorial integrity.
Khan also held a telephone call with the Prince of the UAE crown Mohamed bin Zayed, and they exchanged views on bilateral interest issues and regional developments, especially the latest situations in Afghanistan.
In the latest situations in Afghanistan emphasize that inclusive political settlement is the best way to ensure safety and security and protection of the rights of Afghanistan.
Khan stressed that the world community must remain involved to support Afghans, economically and help rebuild the country.

Khan also spoke with Qatar Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and discussed bilateral relations and exchanged views on the situation that developed in Afghanistan.
Prime Minister stressed Pakistan’s desire to further strengthen political and economic partnerships with Qatar.
He appreciated Qatar’s assistance to Pakistan during a pandemic, especially care given to more than 200,000 Pakistani expatriates working for the advancement and development of the two countries.
The two leaders discussed the current Afghanistan situation where Khan underlined that after 40 years of conflict and instability, there was an opportunity to build lasting peace in Afghanistan.
Khan stressed that the world community must remain involved and support the Afghans at these important points – both economically and to help rebuild the country.
This, he stressed, it was very important to prevent the humanitarian crisis and refugees in the country.
