Islamabad: Pakistan recorded 6,808 new Covid-19 cases, the second highest daily case since Pandemic Coronavirus began in 2020, local media reported on Thursday.
The highest daily toll road was recorded on June 13, 2020, when the country reported 6,825 cases of Coronavirus, according to media reports.

The country’s position in the country jumped to a height of nine months on Thursday morning because the infection rate was reported at 11.55 percent after 58,943 tests were carried out, NCOC data showed.
Active cases, too, were shot and now standing at 51,094 from only 44,717 in the last 24 hours, official figures showed, with a total of death standing at 29.042 after five more people gave up on viruses, according to media reports.
When Pakistan faces the fifth wave of deadly pandemics, NCOC imposes further restrictions at schools, weddings and fitness centers.
According to Pakistani publications, NCOC on Wednesday issued guidelines and revised Coronavirus guidelines for education, restaurants, entertainment and other sectors as Pakistan’s struggle to contain the spread of omicron variants.
The forum has decided that marriage in the room, eat and meetings will be banned in cities and districts with an infection rate higher than 10 percent.
Such schools in cities and districts will remain open, with the “staggering” class for children under 12 years.
