Islamabad: Pakistan on Friday rejected India’s claim that a drone was seen above the Indian High Commission complex here last week and said there was no evidence divided by it to prove the accusation.
The Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi on Friday said that a drone was seen above the Indian High Commission Complex in Islamabad last week and Pakistan had been asked to investigate the incident and prevent the recurrence of “security violations”.
The Indian mission has also submitted strong protests with Pakistan for the incident through Note Verbale which is a diplomatic communique, people who are familiar with these developments in New Delhi.
The incident was revealed in the midst of concern in the establishment of security in India after the Ledfosives-loaded Drone was used to carry out an attack on the Jammu Air Force station on June 27.
Spokesman for the Zahid Hafeaz Chaudhri Foreign office, in response to the request of the media here, called claims as “Indian propaganda”.
“We have seen the statements and reports of MEA India in certain parts of Indian media that accused the drone that flew above the Indian High Commission in Islamabad.” This unreasonable claim does not have a basis for the facts and there is no evidence of anything that has been Shared with Pakistan to prove this accusation, “he said.
