Islamabad: Pakistan on Tuesday announced to complete Afghan refugees in special camps established along the border with Afghanistan.
Information Minister Fawad Chaudhary, overcame a press conference after a cabinet meeting, said that Pakistan expects the entry of Afghan refugees in the midst of the current riots.
“We try our best to ensure that things in Afghanistan are resolved peacefully.
However, if the situation worsens in Afghanistan, Pakistan must bear the burden and we are working on it,” he said.
The minister said that efforts would be made to build camps along the border to keep the affloyed Afghans into Pakistan.
The statement occurred when Chaos loomed in Afghanistan because of the battle between the Taliban and government forces after withdrawing international troops from the ripped country of war.
Nearly 3 million Afghan refugees have lived in Pakistan, almost half of them illegally.
Pakistan has encouraged to send it back but may face a wave of fresh refugees if Afghanistan plunged into the civil war.
Chaudhry also talked about riots in Balochistan Province, saying that the government worked to hold talks with disadvantaged people but there was no talk that would be held with those who had relations with terrorism.
“Of course, the method for approaching them will be different (for those involved in terrorism), but soon you will see that Balochistan will be the center of peace,” he said.
