Quetta: Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), an organization that is prohibited, has claimed responsibility for a suicide explosion in Pakistan Quetta on Sunday, which killed three people and injured 20 others.
Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan condemned the attack at the examination post for paramilitary forces in Quetta.
Dawn newspaper reports that TTP is prohibited to claim responsibility for the attack.
“Condencing an Attack of TTP Suicide at the FC examination post, Mastung Road, Quetta.
My condolences went to the martyr & prayer family for injured recovery.
Salut our security forces & their sacrifices to keep us safe by us.
Terrorist designs supported,” Imran Khan tweeted.
Balochistan counter-terrorism department (CTD) confirmed the suicide attack had targeted the Sohana Khan checkpoint at Mastung Road.
What was injured shifted to Sheikh Zaid Hospital, the confirmed police.
The police said the suicide bomber had hit his motorcycle into a vehicle law enforcement agency at the checkpoint.
On Saturday, Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said that the problem of TTP was one that must be resolved by the Government Imran Khan, not Afghanistan.
“TTP issues are one that must be handled by Pakistan, not Afghanistan.
It is up to Pakistan, and Pakistan Ulemas and religious leaders, not the Taliban, to decide on their legitimacy or irritability of war and to formulate a strategy in response,” said Mujahid, in an interview with an interview with Geo News.
In recent months, the battle between Pakistani security forces and Baloch rebels increased in the region.
Balochistan is a resource-rich Pakistani province but at least developed where freedom movements have been going on for the past few decades.
