Islamabad: Pakistani army helicopters fall on Monday in bad weather in Pakistan occupy Kashmir, killing two pilots on board, the military said.
The statement from the military said the helicopter dropped at Siasen glacier, one of the longest mountain glaciers in the world, located in the range of Karakoram.
Helicopters and rescue forces have been sent to Siachen, the military said.
There is no more detail about accidents that are immediately available.
Both pilots were identified as Major Irfan Bercha and Major Zeeshan Jahanzeb.
Sichen is known as tragedy, a remote place where more troops die from avalanches or colds than in battle.
