New Delhi: In the midst of a heavy battle on Panjshir Valley, Pakistan’s intelligence chief Leth Gen Faiz Hameed has arrived in Kabul, leading the delegation of Pakistani officials on Saturday.
Hameed arrival also appeared before the announcement of the Taliban’s new government formation.
Ani cited Pakistani Journalists Hamza Azhar Salam said that Hameed visited Afghanistan at the Taliban invitation to discuss the future of the two countries.
Pakistan and its famous intelligence agents have been accused of supporting the Taliban in taking over Afghanistan.
Speaking to reporters in Washington, Harsh V Shringla’s foreign secretary on Friday said that Pakistan has “supported and maintained” Taliban who replaced the elected government.
Speaking to a group of journalists in Washington, Shringla said, “Pakistan is neighboring Afghanistan, they have supported and maintained the Taliban.
There are various elements supported by Pakistan – so their role must be seen in that context.” Experts believe that Pakistan has become a key player in Eliminating the Chosen Afghan government from power and building a Taliban as a decisive force in Afghanistan.
Recently, a UN monitoring report has said that an important part of Al-Qaeda leadership is in the Afghan and Pakistan border areas.
Almost all foreign members of Isil-K and Al-Qaida have entered Afghanistan through Pakistan and the leaders of this clothing together with the Taliban people have lived in Pakistan, the UN report said.
