New Delhi: Delhi Police Special Cell on Tuesday arrested a Pakistani-based terrorist in the city, preventing a major terror attack on Navratri in the capital.
Terrorists, who were identified as Mohammad Asraf alias Ali, held from the Taman Ramesh Laxmi Nagar area.
He lives with a fake ID from an Indian national in Delhi’s Shastri Nagar.
One AK-47 Assault Rifle with one additional magazine and 60 rounds, one hand grenade, two advanced pistols with 50 rounds recovered from their ownership.
According to sources, Ali originated from Punjab Province Pakistan.
The relevant provisions of the Linah (Prevention) Act Law, explosive laws, the ARM Law has been summoned against terrorists.
