Pakistani women failed to get citizenship because Kerala Govt was negligent

Thiruvananthapuram: The neglect of the home department has thrown a cloud over the wishes of an old woman to obtain Indian citizenship and make it “stateless”.
Fathima Hasan (73) has left Pakistani citizenship in 2017 and submits all the documents needed for the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) for Indian citizenship but files containing one important document, the rejection certificate issued by Pakistan, has been reported missing from the outside department Country.
Everything will be perfect until MHA sent a letter to the State House Department quoting that the original rejection certificate was not signed by the Director General, Immigration and Passport, Pakistan.
The main secretary of the department of the house, Kerala was directed to get all the documents signed from Fathima and sent them to MHA for further action.
