Palamu Medical College Doctor threatened to broke down from Jan 15 after waiting for a salary

Daltonganj: In the midst of increasing Covid-19 cases in the district, the Medinirai Medical College and Hospital residents here (MMCH) have placed officials of Palamu Regency and the State Health Department in a threatening place to continue the unlimited strike from January 15 if their salary Pending is not immediately cleaned.
MMCH, which is one of the mainstays in the treatment of Covid-19 cases, currently has five tutors, eight senior citizens and 14 junior residents.

On Thursday, residents and tutors made a petition to the Principal of MMCH Dr.
Shailendra Kumar and told him about their collective decisions.

The junior resident was paid by Rs 41,000 a month, while the tutor and senior citizens were paid Rs 75,000.
A contract professor was paid at Rs 2.5 lakh per month, while a professor associate on the contract was paid by Rs 2 Lakh per month.
Hospital sources say the teaching faculty, which includes professors and professor associates on contracts, also works without paying for five months.
Overall, there are five professors and six professor associates at MMCH.
“Very similar to tutors and residents, the contractual teaching faculty was also annoyed because it left without paying for months in the end,” Kumar said.
