Palghar: Five workers were injured in a fire after the explosion at the chemical company factory in Palghar Maharashtra district, officials said on Sundays.
The explosion occurred at around 11:30 a.m.
on Saturday at a chemical plant located in the Boisar Industrial area here, said an API official.
After being told, local firefighters rushed to the place and conducted rescue operations and assistance.
“Five workers received burns due to fire after the explosion.
They have been treated at a local hospital for treatment,” said an official from the Boisar Police Station.
The cause of the explosion was unknown, he said, adding that the investigation had an incident.
