PALGHAR: Four women were saved after a broken sex racket in Vasai in Palghar district, police said on Monday.
The Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zona II) Sanjaykumar Patil said two people, including Transgender, had been arrested for forcing four into meat trade after they lost their jobs during the coronavirus-induced locking.
Raid on Chawl in the Khan Pelhar complex on July 23 has also led to the seizure of Rs 2.53 Lakh, said a Valiv police station official.
