New Delhi: Panacea Biotec on Thursday said signed an agreement to produce up to 25 million doses of v covid-19 Sputnik Vaccine using drugs produced by pharmaceutical generum in Russia.
The company has signed a “Licensing and Manufacturing Agreement with a Limited Company Company Human Vaccine, a subsidiary of Russian Direct Investment Fund, Russia, Generum Generum Stock Company, Russia, and Dr.
Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd,” Panacea Biotec said in submission to BSE.
In accordance with the provisions of this Agreement, Panacea Biotec will produce a sputnik V vaccine using ready-made drugs produced by generum in Russia, and then supply all quantities to Dr.
Reddy for distribution in India, he added.
“This agreement is for manufacturing (content and completion) up to 25 million doses of vaction of Sputnik V,” added Panacea Biotec.
Panacea Biotec shares ended at Rs 356.40 per script at BSE, up 2.77 percent from the previous closed.
