PANAJI: The Directorate of Health Services (DHS), Panaji will arrange a third mega camp for Covid-19 vaccination from the first and second dose, on Saturday.
While DHS has successfully covered most of the population, it was worried about 1.5 beneficiaries of the lakh that had not taken their second dose even after the completion of the gap 84 days after the first dose of Covishield.
“Mega Camp has been organized as a company planning to complete 100% vaccination of all beneficiaries that meet the requirements that have not taken the second dose,” said Dr.
Rajendra Borkar, district immunization officer.
He said experts had suggested that this was the best time to vaccinate and covers the maximum population and developing flock immunity since the number of Covid countries was minimal.
Mega Camp will be held at the Health Center, GMC and Sub-Health Center.
