Lucknow: The President of the Jamajwadi Party Akhilesh Yadav on Saturday demanded BJP in power by making the banter of the election to the Panchayat District headboards, accusing it “kidnapping” voters and using “strength” to prevent them from voting.
The powerful BJP has claimed that the party-supported candidate appeared with a victory in 67 out of 75 seats, the election was held on Saturday.
“To change his defeat to victory, BJP made voters kidnap, using strength with the help of the police and administration to stop them from voting,” SP head accused the release of the party.
BJP made the banter of all the norms of democracy, something that was not seen before, he accused.
The former Main Minister of Uttar Pradesh said it was strange that while most of the results in elections for members of Zila Panchayat benefited the Samajwadi Party, BJP rose in a poll for the Head of Panchayat District.

The SP head said that even though submitting a memorandum to the commissioner of the State Election, there were no actions taken and accused that the ruling party dictatorship was clearly visible.
Quoting his cases, he said members of the Pro-Jamajwadi Arun Praying Party were kidnapped in Lucknow.
The Vijay Laxmi candidate was made to sit in the DM office and her husband Mla Ambareesh Pushkar was prevented to meet him, he accused.
Jamajwadi party workers and women experienced disenonity when they protested, he accused.
Head SP added that the public is ready to provide answers to “cheating” in elections in the upcoming assembly poll.
Democracy will be restored only after the establishment of the Jamajwadi Party Government and only then justice will be carried out, he added.
