Jaipur: Overall, 9.73 Lakh voters will decide the fate of nearly 661 candidates in the second phase of general elections for Panchayat Samiti and Zila Parishad members in the Dholpur and Alwar area on Saturday.
Polls will be held from 8am to 5pm.
The election will be held for 172 Bangsal Panchayat Samiti at eight Panchayat Samisis in the second phase of the general election in these two districts.
Of the 9.73 Lakh voters in these two districts, 4.50 lakh was a female voter, 5.22 lakh was a male and four voters were the third gender voters.
Mehra said that 1,312 voting stations had been prepared for the second phase of elections in eight Panchayat Samitis – six in Alwar and two in Dholpur.
The Commissioner of the Ps Mehra State Election has appealed all voters to follow the Covid guidelines when spending their voices.
“Voters must wear a mask before leaving their homes for the voting station.
They have to clean their hands before entering the voting office,” said Mehra.
Voting for the third phase will be carried out on October 26.
Overall, 64.24 percent of voters carry out their franchises in the first phase election.
The State Election Department has won illegal liquor, cash, narcotics and other items worth Rs 79.29 Lakh in front of Bypolls in two assembly constituents – Vallabhnagar and Dhariawad, an official statement issued by the department on Monday.
The police and the flying team have seized prohibited liquor worth RS 34.58 Lakh, Narcotics worth RS 2.04 Lakh, other suspicious materials worth Rs 13.03 Lakh and RS 29.62 lakh cash from two assembly constituents, said the election of Praveen Gupta.
The election election commission said that the Code of Model’s behavior (MCC) and its Covid guidelines will apply even in areas adjacent to the district or constituency where the election – by Vallabhnagar and Dhariawad – will be held.
Therefore, suggest political parties and candidates oppose organizing political activities directly related to the ongoing general elections in side by side.
The existing commission instructions regarding the enforcement of the model code during the selection of bye provide that it applies to related districts consisting of assembly or parliamentary constituencies to be accepted by them.
