BEHRAMPORE: The Trinamool member of the Gram Panchayat was killed in Burwan Murshidabad while he left for the morning market on Friday, triggering tensions in the area.
The criminals waiting in the field of rice lonely nearby threw a bomb and fired a shot at Sheikh Mustafa (28), riding a bicycle on a bicycle one of his loyalists.
Burwan police interrogated traumatic loyalists who took members of Kurunnurun Gram Panchayat to the local Sundarpur Bazaar.
The Sundarpur incident was the second murder in the Kandi subdivision in the last 24 hours.
It came in a day murder of poultry farm owners who happened to be the son of Rajibutan Sheikh (31), Pradhan from Kumarshanda Pancayat managed by Trinamool on Thursday morning.

Mustafa had survived a bomb attack in 2018.
Kurunnurun Pancrayat Pradhan Tapan Das demanded “punishment for the culprit”.
Trinamool Burwan Mla Jiban Krishna Saha said: “I am in Kolkata and has asked the police to identify the perpetrators.
We suspect the hands of the BJP Congress in the murder.” BJP President Murshidabad Gori Shankar Ghosh denied the allegations.
“The complaint is unfounded.
They (Trinamool) say all this to cover up conflicts in the party,” he said.
