Jaipur: A 57.46% voter was recorded until the end of the election as the second phase of the election for Pancir Samiti and members of Zila Parishad were held in Alwar and Dholpur on Saturday.
The highest poll was recorded at Govindgarh Panchayat Samiti from Alwar Regency at 62.98% while the lowest was recorded at Dholpur Bari Panchayat Samiti at 52.40%.
Overall, there were 9.73 Lakh voters and 661 candidates in the second phase of the election.
Commissioner of the State Election P S Mehra told that from 9.73 Lakh voters, 5.59 Lakh voters carry out their franchise on Saturday.
The commissioner further said 10.18% of voter voters were recorded until 10 am.
The percentage of voting reached 22.15 at 12 noon, at 3pm, voter voters reached 43.25% and at 5pm, 55.97% of voters had given their votes.
The selection was held for 172 Panciran Samiti Wards at eight Panchayat Samisis in the second phase in these two districts.
Of the 9.73 Lakh voters in these two districts, 4.50 lakh was a female voter, 5.22 lakh was a man, while four were the third gender voters.
Overall, 1,312 voting stations arranged for the second phase of elections in eight Panchayat Samitis – six in Alwar and two in Dholpur.
Voting for the third phase will be carried out on October 26 and the vote count will be held on October 29.
Overall, 64.24% of voters carry out their franchises in the first phase.
