Pancrayat launches the ‘Haritha Veed’ scheme

Thiruvananthapuram: With the aim of ensuring hygienic security, Vengoroor Panchayath has launched the ‘Haritha Veed Haritha Nada’ scheme.
The local body recently started a mission with a workshop.
Program awareness and training program as part of the hygiene scheme held in connection with the Mission of Haritha Kerala and Suchitwa’s mission.
For the implementation of hygiene projects, an organizing committee is formed at the level of Panchayat and Ward.
Haritha Karmasena Member, Kudumbashree Arogya Sena, Workers of Anganwadi, Residence Associations, Libraries, and Youth Voluntary Organizations actively participate in the successful implementation of the project.

Over the next one year, organic waste will be treated at sources by installing compost holes and compost trashies in each house.
The committee said that organic vegetable gardens will be established in all back pages using fertilizers obtained from waste processing.
As part of the project, inorganic and plastic waste collected by Haritha Karma Sena members from each house will be submitted to clean the Kerala company.
Rural Development of Local Institutions, Mission of Agricultural University Nava Kerala, Department of Local Government Engineering will oversee and evaluate programs to ensure their success.
This program was inaugurated by the President of Vengekumar Venganoor R.
Vice President Rani Vatsalan led the temporary function of health education Committee Rema Priya, Chairman of the Permanent Committee for G Development G, Chairman of the Shailaja Kumari Welfare Standard Committee and Ashta Balan member, Sunitha Binu also took a session in the workshop.
