Patna: Purvi Pandarak Pancarikan Mukhiya newly elected, Gerelal Yadav aka Priyaranjan (45), was killed in a tender war, a police source said on Wednesday.
Yadav, along with ASI Rajesh Kumar (47) posted at the Pandarak police station and one Lalbabu Das (50), was shot dead near the wedding hall in Bajitpur Village under the Barh Police Station area at Patna on Saturday night.
They attended the daughter’s wedding of a trader from Mamrakhabad in Pandarak.
A senior police officer who benefited the investigation said Yadav was killed to eliminate the possibility of competition for the tender to drift for the construction of a cement plant in 130 hectares of land in Pandarak.
The estimated factory fee will be more than RS1000 Crore.
He said Bhola Singh a famous alley was involved in murder.
Bhola was once a close colleague of Mla Anant Singh, but became a rival a decade returned to the tender dispute.
Police sources said YADAV had a dispute with Bhola sometimes returning from the pillars that revoke a plot of land in Pandarak.
“The stakes are high.
Mukhiya’s murder must be ascertained whatever happened.
Thus, the shooters did not hesitate to kill the other two too,” the officer said.
He said at all nine people, including Bhola, his brother and Paschimi Pandarak Mukhiya Mukhiya Singh, Shooter Bhola Sooraj, Uday Narayan Sharma aka Uday Pahalwan and his three sons were named accused of being submitted by Yadav Dharmraj Kumar’s brother.
“However, Dharmraj has not mentioned anything about tender competition in FIR.
The police arrested the son of Uday Rakesh Singh aka Dablu (42) in a murder case.
He was sent to prison on Tuesday.
The others avoided the arrest,” he said.
The officer said the murder seems to be a fall in Panchayat election competition as Yadav defeated Rajesh’s wife to become Mukhiya.
“But the suitcase isn’t so,” he said.
He said Yadav was close to Yadav Janam Ram, who was shot dead in a general coach Patliputra-Hata Express near the Athmalgola station in Barr in February 2018.
“RAM was also killed to eliminate the upper competition.
But Mla Anant was accused of being accused of that case, “He said.
