“Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, there were restrictions on the journey and transportation because Mafias could not send drugs by an individual courier as before.
Previously, these medicines mafia were used to send small couriers with drugs weighing in just a few grams or kilos, “said an agent officer.
When the situation normalized a pandemic, the Taliban took power in Afghanistan in August this year.

Then on November 15, Gujarat ATS confiscated 120kg drug worth 600 crore from Jinjuda Morbi Village and so far caught seven members.
The drug consignment was sent by Pakistani Medicines Mafia Zahid Baloch.
