Pandemic Times left 45% of teenagers suffering from chronic stress: study

Rajkot: If the past is almost one year or more it has happened, it is very difficult for mental health.
With locking, fear of Covid-19 and financial disabilities put people of all ages through the transmitter and make them mentally stressed.
Chronic stress comes from long-term situations that have not been resolved and this also induces various types of diseases.
A survey conducted by the Department of Psychology Saurashtra (SU) in various age groups people found 45 percent of teenagers ‘chronic stress’ victims, the highest among all age groups.
1,080 people of all ages surveyed by psychologists.
Two students from the Department of Psychology Su, N R Patel and Kartavi Bhatt, conducted this survey under Hod guidance, Yogesh Jogsan.
This duo surveyed 243 children aged between 10 and 14 years, 152 teenagers aged 14 to 17 years, 234 young people between 18 and 45 years old, 270 middle-aged 46 to 60 years and 180 people were over 60 years old.
In their survey, researchers found 45 percent of adolescents, 36 percent of children and 36 percent of youth victims from this long-term stress.
From various reasons that befell teenagers with stress, the most important thing is that they are interrelated with parents to control them during a pandemic for fear.
Restrictions on outdoor activities, under continuous watches and lack of socializing from schools and colleges closed causing irritation and panic in it.
“Chronic stress is a physiological condition that also carries several diseases.
When stressful situations often appear and extend normal pressure that change into chronic,” Jogsan said.
He added that if this chronic stress was not handled properly, it invited certain diseases such as diabetes, heart attacks and other physical and psychological problems in the long term.
According to psychologists, stress to a certain extent that makes people make progress in career and life.
This is called positive stress.
However, when crossing the desired limit, stress reduces a person’s capacity to think and then become a negative factor that leads to serious consequences.
