Noida / Ghaziabad: The Gautam Health Department of Budh Nagar has formed a committee to control zoonotic disease (which transfers from animals to humans), following instructions from the state government.
The committee, which was formed after the government issued a command last week, had met once in Noida to decide the role of various departments and how the spread of such diseases would be controlled.
In his first meeting, it was held on Monday, the committee discussed applicable zoonotic diseases, training for identification of diseases and areas where these cases could appear.
“There are several diseases that spread through direct or indirect or borne vectors Previously and had died for several years now, and held a meeting immediately.
Officials said they would focus on rabies because there were no reports of other diseases such as that had been transferred from animals to humans in Ghaziabad.
