Kochi: Kerala Catholic Council Family Commission (KCBC) issued a statement on Thursday which supports the Diocese of the Church of Syro-Malabar Church, which has announced various benefits for family partners who have more than four children.
KCBC said the actions of nutmeg diocese were part of family welfare activities and schemes for “life protection” which was stated in the Kerala Catholic Church in connection with the direction of the Vatican to observe the year as a “family year”.
Chairman of the Pro-Life Committee and the KCBC Family Commission, Bishop Paul Antony Mullassery, said it was proven that there were a lack of purity in an effort to not need to make controversy from the family welfare project formulated in nutmeg diocese.
