MADURAI: Special teams that are reduced to examine gold loans provided by cooperative communities throughout the state must complete 100% supervision of all loans and submit their reports to regional applicants concerned from cooperative communities on November 15.
Regional Joint Registrants will submit their reports compiled on loan status in their area to cooperative community registrants, Chennai on November 20.
This was stated in the communication on September 24 from the registrants to the executive director, the central cooperative bank, regional pittry, and other officials.
It was said to the main minister announced under 110 rule from the Assembly that all gold loans who qualified up to five rulers obtained through cooperative communities would be abolished.
But it has detected that abuse has occurred in providing this gold loan and therefore it has been decided to examine loans provided through the community.
According to the announcement of the chairman of the minister in the assembly, the state will be subject to RS 6,000 crore expenditure due to neglect.
The Registrar said that all gold loans had gained until March 31, 2021 and from April 1, 2021 until the supervision date must be reviewed 100%.
The committee consisting of regular applicants must decide the number of gold assessors needed for the supervision and form committee.
Cooperative communities in each region will be studied by teams from neighboring areas.
For example, the Trichy region will be reviewed by officials from Ariyalur, Karur by Dindigul, Theni region by officials from Madurai etc.
