Panel to probe overcharging by Physicians

Gurgaon: Deputy commissioner Yash Garg featured on Wednesday that a three-member committee to check into the complaints of overcharging by hospitals.
The committee will deal with the complaints of taxpayers and will regain the sum in the hospitals in the event of overcharging.
Officials said that the decision was taken after the directions of the state authorities.

“The complainant could submit their complaint into the Gurgaon civil agency office in Polyclinic at Sector-31 or the town magistrate’s office at miniature secretariat.
A complaint may also be filed online by linking it into ctmgrg@hry.nic.in.
After we get the complaint, actions will be taken according to the principles of this state authorities,” explained Dahiya.
On May 2, Haryana wellness ministry Anil Vij said that stringent action will be taken from the personal hospitals when detected overcharging the sufferers.
Haryana had fixed prices of Covid-19 therapy in hospitals in June this past year.
The prices of isolation beds at the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare (NABH) and Joint Commission International (JCI) licensed hospitals has been fixed at Rs 10,000 daily for moderate illness, Rs 15,000 for ICU beds without any ventilators and Rs 18,000 daily for ICU beds using ventilators.
“We’ve not yet obtained any complaint of overcharging from the hospitals in Gurgaon.
But now the committee was included, it is going to explore the complaints when any and will solve them at a relative member.
The health section and IMA have their agents in the poll, which will be led by the town magistrate,” explained Dr Virendra Yadav, Gurgaon primary medical officer.
On May 28, four private colleges in Palwal were reserved to get a Covid patient.
