The Panipat Institute of Engineering & Technology Institution Board (IIC Piet) reached 4-star ratings provided by the Institution Innovation Board, Innovation Cell Ministry of Education (Indian Government) and all Indian Councils for Technical Education (AICTE) for extraordinary performance in activities Innovation at 2020-21.
The Panipat Institute of Engineering & Technology is the only college in Haryana to get a 4 star rating together with becoming one of the 21 Institutes from Northwest India and one of the 339 IIC institutions among 5,000 Indian institutions and universities.
Institutions with 4-star are considered as the best performance institutions that have innovation and efficient entrepreneurial campus ecosystems and established mechanisms to promote and support innovation and entrepreneurship among students and faculty members.
4 star rating is the highest ranking this year.

The annual performance rating of all institutes and universities was stated by the Institutional Innovation Board, the Ministry of Education, the Government of India every year based on ICS performance of them.
The Innovation Institution Board at the Institute of Panipat Technology & Technology was formed in 2018/19 in accordance with the norms and direction of MHRD innovation cells, to systematically foster the culture of innovation at the Institute.
IICS is responsible for carrying out activities according to the activity calendar provided by MHRD innovation cells.
