Para-athletes need professional and financial assistance

Hubballi: Talented Parighha in this Regency, after proving himself among his country’s colleagues, hoping for support from the government that would enable him to participate in global events, and hopefully make the country proudly produce medals.
Nilofar Dharwad, daughter of a portir, pocketed third place at the ‘Javelin Throw’ event at the 2021 National Athletics Championship event which was recently held by the National Paralympic Committee (NPC).
He threw Javelin 19.82m far away, a achievement that had received his praise from the Athlete Feted Girisha Hosanagara Nagarajegowda, who believed that Nilofar could achieve many things if his talent was honed and pushed.
Nilofar, with the help of the government, hopes to register professional coach assistance.
Death recently from losing his father against cancer, who worked hard and supported to pour financial fuel needed to encourage his daughter’s dream, had made him destroyed more than one.
Nilofar lost his left hand in 2008, besides maintaining a severe injury in his stomach, and the right foot when he was reduced.
Southpaw naturally, the loss of his left hand translated also loses its natural athletic talent.
Refusing to accept his fate, Nilofar struggled, continued his education, and got a title from Nehru College.
It was the achievement of his sister in the sports arena – Nilofar’s siblings had reached a lot in the school and college tournaments – which encouraged him to take plunge into athletics.
Last year, he participated in the 30th edition of Karnataka State Games in the F-46 category, securing gold on shots, and silver in the Javelin throw.
His achievements at the state-level event made him get the opportunity to national fame, and participate in the 19th of the National Athletic Championship of the National 2021, he brought home a bronze medal at the Javelin throw event.
Nilofar is one of six children of his parents.
His brother decided to bear the burden of the family by turning the porter, like his father, after the last death.
“It is very difficult for my brother to meet needs, go alone to provide funds for me to practice to throw Javelin,” Lemented Nilofar.
Apart from the problem that seems unreatable, Nilofar refused to accept defeat.
He said that he wanted to complete the family income, which ended, he was ready to join a government organization or private company.
“While I want to take care of my brothers and my mother, I’m also determined to make India proud of winning a gold medal at an international event,” he added.
“He can achieve more with the right guidance ‘There is plenty of space for women’s athletes, but they need professional help.
If Nilofar can throw Javelin nearly 20 million away, I am sure he can achieve more, if you provide the necessary guidance.
The talent needs Recognized, and local authorities, sports fans and even the private sector must provide financial assistance.
I will take the reason with the Karnataka Sports Association for physical disabilities, and do what I can to encourage it.
