New Delhi: The Indian Navy Tablo in the Republican Day Parade, Wednesday was depicted in 1946 the Navy rebellion, which contributed to the country’s independence movement, and the marching contingent was led by a female officer.
The rebellion was started by the Royal Sailor Indian Navy ship ‘Talwar’ on February 18, 1946, and then spread to 78 ships.
Tablo on Tuesday shows the theme of the Navy from ‘Combat ready, credible and cohesive’.
The Naval contingent consists of 96 men, three platoon commanders and one contingent commander.
It was led by Lieutenant Commander Aanchal Sharma, who was an observer officer posted in India Naval Air Squadron (INAS) 314.
Sharma, assigned in June 2016, has on January 22, saying that the enthusiasm and energy of the contingent is incomparable and that It is indeed an honor to be prominent in the Republican Day Parade.
