Paralympics: Pramod Bhagat is looking for a lost gold medal game

New Delhi: World No.
1 Pramod Pramod Bhagat India believes that he has a “strongest mindset on the planet” and aims to return with two gold medals from Tokyo Paralympics to equip the famous trophy cabinet.
33-year-old player, who is the current Asian and World champion, has been eligible for Tokyo Paralympics in two events – Singles men SL3 and a double SL3-SU5 mixture with a Kohli palak.
SL3 refers to the small defense or lower limb disorder, while the SU5 is for players with a decrease in the upper limb.
“I have been waiting for today since I started my professional journey, and it was also the only medal missing from achievement …,” Bhagat, which was influenced by polio at an early age, told PTI in an interview.
“At the moment I am in the best condition with the strongest mindset on the planet.
My coach and coach work very much to me.
I have some of the weaknesses I’m working on.” The Indian Badminton Contingent will depart on Friday for Tokyo and Bhagat will be the main competitor for the gold medal at the Olympics, where badminton made his debut.
“I don’t want to disappoint 1.4 billion people behind me.
My goal is to get Indian gold at Badminton Paralympics.
I will aim at two gold, one in a single and one in mixed doubles,” said Bhagat, who so far Win five medals at the World Championship.
“Also becomes 1 add a lot of shipping pressure on the world stage.
I use it as a motivation to appear.
We hope to win at least 3-4 medals for India.” My full focus is active.
Tournament and how to provide the best.
I also keep my mind clear and don’t emphasize or think about anything.
It will be very big for me because this is one medal that has dodged me.
“Bhagat has claimed two gold medals in the Dubai Badminton tournament in April when exercise returned after a year-long break due to a pandemic.” Dubai is like a litmus test for all of us when we play tournaments after almost a year.
It really tests us as forgotten than how much you practice, the match is a different ball game, “said Bhagat, who won a single gold and also paired with Manoj Sarkar to win men’s double gold in the SL4-SL3 category.” The last few years were really good for me because I felt I was in my first and played very well.
I work to maintain it and practice very hard and also develop.
“Paralympics, just like the Olympics, will be held in the shadow of the Covid-19 Pandemic and Bhagat said the health crisis will always be behind the mind.” The virus has created chaos not only for me but for everyone.
There will always be worries about the virus endanger the entire campaign but I don’t think about it.
“Now my focus is to play my best game in this tournament.” How difficult is it to practice for paralympics with a pandemic that puts the country under the lock? Bhagat said, “At first the whole scenario was very uncertain.
With training facilities and closed courts, it was really difficult to train and stay fit, but slowly the government made the settings needed for at least at home.” “As soon as the court is open, we are back in bubble training for Paralympics.” It was good that at least we got some time playing in the Dubai Parada badminton tournament which was recently concluded.
It really helped us measure where we stand when it comes to matching exercises and stamina in court.
“So, will it affect performance?” That can be if you leave it; Therefore, I have blocked the thoughts and only think of my game.
During locking, I did not only work on physical strength and stroke games but also focused on mental well-being, “he signed.
Badminton’s actions began on September 1 in Tokyo.
