Paralympics: Third Rakesh, Vivek in Top-10 in Archery Ranking

Tokyo: Archer Indian compounds Rakesh Kumar fired a career of 699 points from the possibility of 720 to reach third place in the opening round of men from the Paralympic match here on Friday.
In the open category of Men Recurve, 2019 the winner of the Asian Championship Chikara Vivek finished in Top-10.

11 Kumar, who won an individual gold medal in the first world ranking tournament in Dubai earlier this year, almost missed his second position to Iran Ramezan Bianii which also numbered 699 but was placed higher than India for photographing more center (X).

In the open category of recurve men, Chikara finished in the top 10 after photographing 609 points, ahead of the 2018 the Asian Games Champion Harvinder Singh who qualified as the 21st seed.

Open events combine W2 classes (wheelchairs 2) and ST (standing).
