Parents in Ahmedabad want to get their teenagers vaccinated

Ahmedabad: When Sonal Brahmbhatt heard that those aged between 15 and 18 years will be allowed to take vaccination from January, he sighed with relief.
Residen Thaltej now plans to get his son, a 12th grade student, at the earliest vaccinated.
“We have two cases of Covid in the family during the second wave, and we know the importance of vaccination to protect themselves from the impact of infection.
But more importantly, it will be an opportunity for him to pursue activities other than the school he hajar offline,” he said, as he said That the social interaction of his son is limited because his status is not vaccinated.
“With all the activities slowly continue offline, the vaccination will bring us peace.” According to the rules set by the center on Monday, vaccination registration will begin on January 1 and vaccination drive will begin from January 3.
Teenagers must get aadhaar card or grade 10 sheets as proof of their age.
The State Health Department official said that the school would be the main focus for vaccination drives.
City-based doctors say that it is a step in the right direction.
While many students attend training classes for boards or entrance tests, some also participate in co-curricular activities at school or elsewhere.
“Vaccination will help them move without fear of experiencing infection even because the share of patients from this age group is relatively lower than the average age of covid patients,” experts said.
