Hyderabad: In the midst of increasing cases of dengue and mysterious fever in the state, school management ‘the decision to make a compulsory physical class, has made parents worry.

“As parents we know that grade 9 and 10 are important, but nothing is more important than child health.
School management should not stop the class online,” said parents of 9th grade students registered in private schools in Tarnaka.
Parents added: “We don’t mind paying full fees even for online classes, but the school should not insist on the physical presence because the pandemic is not over.” Many parents say they have received a message from the school who stated the plan to start the class session and an offline exam.
Parents urge the state to ensure schools continue with the arrangements that are followed during the last academic year and make it mandatory for them to provide online or digital classes rather than insisting on physical presence.
School management confirmed that except for grade 9 and 10, not many of the main primary parts and above have attended the physical class.
“Until the 5th grade, the presence of almost 15% in budget schools.
In class 9 and grade 10, it must be around 70%,” said Shekhar Rao Y, President, Telangana admitted the School Management Association added that many parents were still hesitant to send children their child to school.
