Surat: parents of pupils learning in a private college in Athwalines field staged a demonstration outside the district education officer’s (DEO) office on Monday afternoon demanding that DEO decided on the institution’s act of taking capitation cash.
Parents beneath the banner of Students’ and toddlers’ Welfare Association reported that the DEO hadn’t been taking some action since the problem was sub-judice up to now.
“The faculty had moved the high court contrary to the DEO’s past probe report which it had accumulated capitation cash, however the high court gave the order in our favor,” explained Chirag Thakkarsaid president of this institution.
He added the DEO’s previous probe had reasoned that the college had accumulated capitation cash.
“Because the matter isn’t any more sub-judice we need the DEO to deliver a last conclusion in 10 days we will sit down on a dharna,” Thakkar stated.
The parents also have alleged that the college might need to pay crores of rupees as good as it’d been amassing capitation fees because 2005.
