New Delhi: The parts of the national capital receive light rain on Sunday when the maximum temperature is resolved at 36.4 degrees Celsius, the Indian Meteorology Department said.
It is said that places are isolated in the West, southwest and South Delhi witnessed a storm with a rain of light to moderate intensity.
The city recorded a minimum temperature of 28 degrees Celsius, one level above the season average, said weather officials.
Moisture was recorded at 75 percent at 5:30 a.m., they said.
The MET department has estimated “medium to heavy rainfall” in isolated places above Delhi on Monday.
The city on Monday is expected to record minimum and maximum temperatures of 25 and 32 degrees Celsius.
Data from the central pollution control agency shows that the air quality index (AQI) at 18:30 in Delhi stands at 89.
Aqi between zero and 50 is considered ‘good’, 51 and 100 ‘satisfying’, 101 and 200 ‘Medium’, 201 and 300 ‘poor’, 301 and 400 ‘very poor’, and 401 and 500 ‘severe’.
