Part of the south, west, North India to witness heavy rainfall activities for the next 3 days: IMD

New Delhi: Several parts in the south, West and North India tend to receive heavy rainfall for the next three days with the resurrection of Southwest Monsun, the Indian Meteorology Department (IMD) said on Sundays.
It is said that the increase in heavy rainfall activity is quite extensive and isolated until the rain is very hard as possible over Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala for the next three days and reduces the intensity and distribution afterwards.

The rainfall deficit until August 31 is nine percent.

While issuing its forecast for September, Director General of General Mrutunjay Mohapatra on Wednesday said the shortcomings recorded during August would likely be compensated for the excess rainfall this month.
