Parties use religion as a tool to influence voters: Mayawati

Lucknow: The day after the Indian General Election Commission (ECI) announced a schedule for polls for Uttar Pradesh’s poll, Head of Mayawati’s Berjan Party (BSP) accused rival political parties using government religions and machinery to influence voters for their political benefits.
He also said the Bharatiya Janata (BJP) party would definitely be overthrown from the power provided not “damaging” with the voter engine.
“Pichhle Kuch Varson Mein Hue Chunavon to the Hardam Ki Daun Karne Tatha Va Dharm Train Ka Chuna Swarth to Liye Anuchit Istamal Karne Kaafi Ghatak Roop Mein Badhi Hi (During all types of rigging and the use of improper power and religion has increased in a deadly form ), “he said, overcoming a press conference at Lucknow.
While he did not take any name, the accusation was considered as directed at the BJP and SP that had been in power in the past 10 years.
Mayawati, as in fact, has warned BJP and SP playing communal cards to position themselves as a key controller in the battle of high polls.
Head BSP appealed to ECI to examine the use of religion as a tool to influence voters and ensure that the code behavior code is not violated.
He said the administrative machine and the police must feel the pressure of the Commission while doing their duties.
This, he said, is very important for general elections and fair.
In a real reference to the election of West Bengal and the Election of Panchayat, Mayawati said it had been noticed in the last few elections that political parties had launched a Blitzkrieg campaign despite Pandemic Corona.
“This has been the cause of extraordinary concern for the people,” he said.
He also said the commission must take the necessary steps to see that dialts and other oppressed classes do not face problems in carrying out their franchise in sensitive polling booths.
His observations marked BSP’s efforts to consolidate Bank Dalit Vote which was aggressively worn by BJP and other political parties.
Reminding people about previous government, Mayawati said it was only the party who had the ability to uphold the supremacy of law and deliver throughout the country.
“BSP also stands for emancipation and welfare of people from all parts of society, including youth, women, religious minorities, Dalit, the top of the top and poor economically,” he reiterated.
Mayawati also advised people not to fall in the trap of the opposition party ‘”tempting promises” made in the election manifesto.
Mayawati categorically ripped BJP who accused of not taking action against the mafia and people with criminal antecedents close to the turmeric dispensation.
Maintaining that “Jungle Raj” was above, Mayawati said “a certain community” among the top caste was very worried.
Even though he did not mention the community, his statement was seen as appointing the Brahmana he had fallen out as part of the formula of social engineering tried and tested which pushed him to power with the majority in 2007.
He also took a pot.
Shot to SP said that “the dream of winning 400 seats” in the upcoming election will be proven hollow after March 10 “The same will occur with BJP and other parties,” he said, his party’s pitching as the only popular “political clothing before the people.
