Passenger Bus Aapli Irked because of limited timings

Nagpur: With the ‘Break Chain’ limit that allows companies in the city to remain open only until 4pm, Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has limited the Aapli bus timing.
Starting at 6am to 10pm, city bus services only operate until 7:00 p.m.
This step has made passengers, especially workers from industrial areas such as Butibori, Hingna, Kalmeshwar etc.
“Everyone is in the field to get daily bread after a series of locking.
At such times, NMC must support us by providing bus services on all routes,” said Resident Pardi Mahesh Dukre who worked in Hingna MIDC.
The government’s direction clearly said that public transport can operate with a capacity of 100% but without standing, but Ti speckled.
Many buses are crowded with passengers standing in it.
With the market opened, around 46,000 commuter passengers every day in the Aapli bus service, according to the data purchased from the NMC transport department.
Some passengers said they were forced to travel standing because they could not buy another mode of transportation or could not wait for the next bus.
There is complete inconsistency in the Aapli bus service, is their general reaction.
Working hours from various industrial areas, private offices and governments.
There are many traveling to work to Khaparkheda, Pardi, Butibori, Kalmeshwar, Hingna MIDC, Ambajhari Armament Factory, Wadi, Koradi, Kampee and many other places.
Nearly 90% of passengers traveled on the lower class owned city bus up.
“NMC must empathize with them.
NMC should be spent on the welfare of Nagpurians.
Instead of thinking about it as a business, NMC must run the bus as a service to citizens,” said passenger The factors and comfort of these passengers are considered before limiting bus services.
By operating only 50% of the bus (200 operates at this time), citizens are forced to use private vehicles, thus increasing costs for fuel costs.
According to traffic police, vehicle traffic has increased after easing restrictions, causing an increase in road accidents.
They also said the Aabli bus service must be strengthened.
Ojas, who worked at Hingna MIDC, said that he was forced to use two-wheeled vehicles due to limited city bus services.
“And then the government said the number of accidents must go down.
This causes gasoline criminal waste and human life at stake due to the attitude of the civil body,” said Ojas.Additional Commissioner of Jalaj Sharma said that the Aapli bus timing was limited because of the state government guidelines.
“If other cities like Mumbai and Pune run the city bus service late at night, NMC will review timings,” he said.
