Lucknow: People traveling to Uttar Pradesh by bus from neighboring Delhi and Uttarakhand screen for Covid-19 at the bus station, a senior official Roadways Transport Corporation said on Monday.
Thermal playback of all passengers is being carried out and those who have high temperatures undergo a quick antigen test, the official said.
“Until now, the bus did not come from Rajasthan and Bihar.
Buses came from Uttarakhand and Delhi, mostly to Western Up and Lucknow.
On each bus station, the medical team has been deployed for passenger testing,” PK Bose, “Regional Manager of UPSRTC in Lucknow , said.
The government of Uttar Pradesh on Sunday said the negative RT-PCR report is mandatory for those who come from the state where the level of participation is more than three percent.
The report should not be more than four days, said in a statement issued Here on Sunday.
“People who come from such countries must start their journey after completing the Covid test.
Those who have taken both vaccine doses can be released, “said the statement.
