Chandigarh: Secretary General of Congress Randeep Singh Surjewala on Friday was dubbed “Increasing fast and repeat prostitutes” in excise duties and VAT on gasoline and diesel in the past as “Jizyah Taxes” by the Government of Narendra and ML Khattar in the center and in Haryana.
Surjewala made a statement amid various countries ruled by BJP refusing to cut VAT to further reduce fuel prices after reducing customs in gasoline and diesel each with various countries ruled by BJP to reduce VAT to them.
“Increasing fast and repetitive fields in Customs and VAT stated that in two fuel is Jizyah tax by the Government of Modi and Khattar,” he said in a statement.
“In the first nine months of 2021, gasoline prices increased by Rs 28 per liter and diesel prices of Rs 26 per liter.” Reducing gasoline and diesel prices of Rs 5 and Rs 10 per liter each is Tom-Tommed as a Diwali prize .
This is a clear trick, “Surjewala said in a statement here.” During the previous Congress government until October 2014, VAT on Diesel in Haryana was 8.8 percent.
“Post-reduction and even on dates, VAT in Haryana is 18 percent and additional VAT in this country are five percent.
This is a clear increase of more than 100 percent.
Even after the so-called VAT reduction on November 4, 2021, VAT on gasoline 18.20 percent and additional VAT are 5 percent, “he added.
“Will the Duo Khattar-Dushyant Chautala answer people because of this insolent booty by their government?” He asked.
The Haryana government has announced a PPN reduction in fuel on Thursday, making them cheaper in the BJP-JJP state with Rs 12 per liter.
On Wednesday, the central government has announced customs cuts on gasoline and diesel of RS 5 and RS 10, lowering their retail rates from the highest record.
In fact, the Khattar government did not want to continue the interest in the reduction in crude oil prices to the people of Haryana.
“The Khattar government issued fraud by pampering himself by falsifying the number.
The Haryana government is said to reduce the VAT on gasoline by 6.5 percent but put the maximum reduction driver RS 1.12 only,” said Surjewala.
“In the case of diesel, it is even more interesting.
The Khattar government is said to reduce VAT on Diesel by 0.40 percent but increases the maximum VAT number of Rs 10.08 per liter to Rs 11.86 per liter,” he claimed further.
Surjewala, who is also a former Minister of Haryana, asked the Khattar government to explain the reason or logic to limit the reduction of the maximum VAT relief to Rs 1.12 per liter and increased, instead of reducing, the number of maximum VAT at Rs 1.78 per liter.
“The reason is clear – every time the price of crude oil will fall, the Khattar government will be noted and Haryana people will not benefit.
But if crude oil prices increase, the same load will be given to countries.
This is mainly an anti-size Draconian farmer, “he thought.
Meanwhile, the statement of the government Haryana on Friday said after the country reduced VAT on gasoline and diesel, gasoline prices had dropped from Rs 106.94 to Rs 95.27 per liter throughout the state.
Also, diesel prices have dropped from Rs 98.60 to RS 86.51.
“Prices of gasoline and diesel are still higher in other states compared to Haryana.
In Punjab, gasoline is Rs 105.02 per liter, in Delhi the price of gasoline is Rs 103.97 per liter.
Similarly, gasoline in Himachal Pradesh is Rs 96 , 06 per liter, “said a government statement.
“This is evident from the numbers of these countries that gasoline and diesel are cheaper in Haryana and the state community benefit from price reduction,” he added.
