Madurai: FR George Perai, Pastor Parish Parish at Kankumari District of Tamil Nadu who was ordered for hatred and insulting speech, was arrested early on Saturday.
The priest was arrested from Others on the outskirts of Madurai.
Kanakakumari police supervisor District V Badri Narayanan told toi that they got a tip-off that the river traveled by car.
“We share vehicle details and possible locations with Madurai District Police.
He was arrested around 4am and was handed over to a special team from Kanyakumari in Kaligudi,” he added.
Then, he was produced in front of the Kuzhithurai court in Kanyakumari District.
The court returned it in the arrest of judiciary for 15 days.
