Pastor stabbed with a paper cutter at Ghaziabad Temple

Ghaziabad: A priest was stabbed several times with a paper cutter when he fell asleep at the Dasna Devi temple in the Masuri area on Tuesday.
Priest suffered a severe injury to his throat and stomach and underwent surgery.
His condition remains important.
Police said Swami Nareshanand (56), from Samastipur Bihar, had reached the temple on Sunday.
The next day, he went to Jantar Mantar to attend the protest where several participants were suspected of shouting inflammatory slogans.
The priest returned to the temple the same night.
Six more people from countries such as Rajasthan and Bihar who also came to protests living with Nareshanand.
Swami Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati, Head of Imam, said on Monday night, Nareshanand went to bed after dinner.
“When the weather was hot, he preferred to stay outside.
Around 10pm, he went to bed on the bed he distributed with someone named Manoj Singh, who came from Prayagraj.
The others still fell asleep in the room, which was locked for reasons Security, “he said.
The attack on Nareshanand occurred around 3am.
“I was sleeping when ‘Sewak’ came to tell me about it,” Narsinghan said and, added, “I saw blood flowing out of his throat and stomach.
We rushed to the nearest hospital.” Manoj said the suspects tried to attack him too , but run away after the paper cutter is bankrupt.
“When I was sleeping and had covered myself with a blanket, I couldn’t see who the attacker was,” he added.
Narsinghanand claims he is the real target.
“The defendant had come to kill me but was confused because our robes were similar,” said Imam Head, who had given the controversy in the past with his communication comment.
Earlier this year, a Muslim boy was allegedly removed to drink water on the spot.
This temple is guarded by 33 PAC personnel, four Gunners, five security guards and three policemen.
There are eleven CCTV cameras.
Shailendra Singh, Sho, Police Station Masuri, said in CCTV footage, one suspect can be seen entering the temple.
“Police tried to identify him and three teams were formed,” he added.
