This campaign was launched after the terrible murder of Grishma Vekariya who slits to death in public views full of Goyani phenyl in Padosara Village.
As part of campaign awareness, meetings in each housing community will be held to create awareness among parents and children.
Parents will be made aware of how they can observe changes in minute behavior in their children.
The campaign will be brought to social media too.
“Some community leaders share their minds and encourage leaders to work against dangerous trends among young people.
We have planned to hold meetings in every residential community to ensure that no incident like that happens again,” said Dinesh Navadiya, local president Vishva Hindu Parishad.
“It has become a challenge for all of us to prevent the entire generation from the wrong path.
We need to run a campaign for a long time and must reach every house,” said Kanji Bhalala, President, Saurashtra Patel Seva Samaj.
Community leaders made a representation to Police Commissioner Ajay Tomar and an additional range of the Director General of Police (ADGP), Rajkumar Pandian on Monday.
They demanded action against the hookah bar, several restaurant restaurants and other places where they felt that young people were involved in unreasonable activities.
“We need to get rid of restaurants together, hookah bars and other hangout points.
We need to engest parents make this campaign effective,” Bhalala said.
The family must observe specific changes in young boys and women when they enter into anything that can cause them to be problematic.
Timely action will help prevent such a unfortunate incident, “added Navadiya.
Another space of the meeting of the leaders of the community will be held by Samast Patidar Samaj (SPS).” We have started a campaign to protect our youth and more meetings will be held .
We will first improve people’s responsibilities about what we can do and then the police role begins.
The police can detect crime but parents and communities can oversee their children, “said Velji Shecha, President of SPS.
