Kalyan: The State Union Minister Patil on Saturday targets the Government of Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) and alleges that they do not provide a single rupe for the development of Kalyan Assembly Constitution (West) in the past two years.
The minister spoke at the inauguration ceremony of the Lax Mibai Sitaram Karhari Garden, which was approved by former Kalyan Mla Narendra Pawar through special funds.
He claimed that the development work in the city was still ongoing from the former funds of MLA Narendra Pawar.
The garden inaugurated has an open gym, playground equipment for children, jogging and seating arrangements for senior citizens.
Patil then blamed the MVA government to postpone the Thine-Bhiwandi Metro project -Kalyan.
He said, “Metro work between Thane and Bhiwandi is in full swing and almost 60% of the work is completed, but over the past two years, the MVA government failed to float the tender to work between the route Bhiwandi and Kalyan.” The Minister also said that he had raised this problem a year ago.
Patil also emitted the belief that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will get most in the election of the upcoming Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC).
