Patna: Four was accused of a beaking case of Bakarganj Jewelry Arrested from Patna and Jehanabad on Monday.
The police also recovered 6.5kg of gold ornaments worth RS3.2 Crore, Rs 4.32 lakh cash and four cellphones looted from SS jewelry in the busy Bakargin area at 2pm at January 21.
The arrest accusations were identified as Akash Ojha, A resident of Sirpatpur, Sonu Kumar from Jagganpura, Raju Kewat from Mulhchak Kutiya in Jehanabad and Nitesh Kumar from the Road Hospital in Jehanabad.
One Rajesh Ram aka Sadhu was captured by a local shop owner with a bag containing around 2 kg from the golden schedule looted.
Patna SSP Manavjit Singh Dhillon told the media to the people accused of beaking bakganjanjjar jewelry cases had been captured and jewelry looted, cash and cellphones recovered.
“It was Nitesh who hatched a conspiracy of the booty at Jehanabad.
Nitesh’s father has a jewelry store at Jehanabad.
Both of them have visited SS jewelry in November last year to buy ornaments,” he said.
Nitesh revealed that he told his friends Raju and Rajesh about the shop.
Trio visited the shop twice in January to conduct a reception.
Apart from the Sadhu and Raju Kewat from Jehanabad, Sonu and Akash of Patna were also involved in this robbery, SSP said.
SSP said Shop Sanjeev owner was asked to provide invoices and register stocks and income tax and return GST five years when he mentioned that around 35 kg of gold was looted from his shop.
“The defendant targeted this store because it was on the first floor and people could hardly see them.
This is a wholesale store and the defendant told the owner that they planned to open a new jewelry store.
Two defendants entered the store and called the other two by using the code ‘Pani Poao’.
In ten minutes, they fell asleep with cash looted in one bag and jewelry and cellphone employees in two other bags, “Dhillon said.
Three of them were arrested from the McDowell roundabout after sitting receiving information played with other criminals seen in Bahadurpur, Patrakar Nagar and the Regional Office of the Kadamkuan Police Station.
Sitting Nabbed Sunny, Raju and Sonu and confiscated two Copilemade pistols, two magazines and 12 cartridges of life from them.
In the recognition of Sunny, jewelry and cash looted from the rented house of her parents under the Gopalpur police station area.
The police also restored a luxury car, looted by Sunny and Sonu from the Kotwali police station area in October 2021.
The police also recovered five motorbikes, including two used in robbery, and one more.
Dhillon said about 17 cases had been registered against Sunny in various police stations.
Raju was accused of 7 cases, Sonu in six and Rajesh in 3 cases.
